Look of the Day: Glitz & Grit

Today's look of the day has a bit of grit and glitz. The distressed denim vest was originally a jacket that I snipped the sleeves off to add an edge. The gauzy dress with crochet detail adds a delicate touch while the oversized sunnies and combat boots pull the look  together.

Behind the Scenes + Official Music Video

If a picture is worth a thousand words, is a video worth a million? Since this post has both, I will keep it short and sweet. Here are a few behind the scene shots of the video I styled a few months back. The featured artist Judit, is a Bay Area based soul singer and one of my closest friends. Not only was I proud of my friend for making her dream come true, I was honored to be a part of the project. What do you think of the song? Which look was your favorite? I'm looking forward to hearing your... Feedback! Feedback!

Look of the Day: Le Marais & Magazines

From the Parisian printed maxi-skirt and touches of gold to the circle sunnies and bold blouse, this look is the epitome of laid-back luxe. I must admit that this is one of my favorite looks from the shoot I shot and styled with Covet Boutique, Allergic to Vanilla and OfficialSTinaD. Steal fashion blogger Carlina Harris' style and shop the look below!

Moto + Floral

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with two talented Bay Area bloggers. Allergic to Vanilla's Carlina Harris took center stage as the model while makeup artist Tina D of OfficialStinaD was on beauty duty. Not only did I style this shoot, I got to step behind the lens and snap the photos!

San Francisco's Union Street was the backdrop for this shoot and the perfect place for this hard meets soft look.  Floral Print Scuba Dress, bracelets and handbag  provided by San Francisco boutique Covet SF.

Look of the Day: Flower Power

One of the things I love about being a stylist is when a model relaxes enough to break out of her shell and reveal her true self. This look is a perfect example of that. Sarah was so comfortable and confident in this outfit that she was brave enough to reveal her inner treehugger, peace lover and flower child.
