Last night actors, models, designers and the who's who of fashion attended the annual Costume Institute Gala. Also known as the Met Ball, the gala is hosted by Vogue Magazine and celebrates the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum's fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute. The evenings theme "PUNK: Chaos to Couture" was seen all over the red carpet. Here are my pick for Belles of the Ball.
Best Dressed
Anne Hathaway was a stunner in a sheer black, beaded vintage Valentino.
Gwen Stefani in Maison Martin Margiela.
Host Rooney Mara wore a Givenchy gown and looks right in white.
Taylor Swift sizzled in this black J. Mendel gown.

Leelee Sobieski wore a Christian Dior black-and-white gown.
Chloe Sevigny opted for a Proenza Schouler LBD (Long Black Dress).
Sienna Miller in Burberry gown, studded biker jacket and box clutch.
Greta Gerwig was punk princess in a black Saint Laurent gown.
