Inspiration of the Week: Sharkly Dressed

As Discovery Channels Shark Week comes to a close, my style inspiration blooms. The high point of my week was the show Alien Sharks. Not only did it showcase some of the largest, scariest looking sharks I've ever seen. The crew set a goal to do something that had never been done, see a living Mega Mouth Shark. I don't want to spoil the ending if you haven't seen it...but it was worth every nail biting moment. Have you been watching Shark Week? Which shows were your favorite?

Look of the Day: Glitz & Grit

 

Today's look of the day has a bit of grit and glitz. The distressed denim vest was originally a jacket that I snipped the sleeves off to add an edge. The gauzy dress with crochet detail adds a delicate touch while the oversized sunnies and combat boots pull the look  together.

Look of the Day: Dark Knight

I've been so busy lately that I created a super heroine alter ego. Hey, it worked for Beyoncé! My alter egos name is Dark Knight, because that's the only time I have the energy/attention span to prevent crimes of fashion by creating inspiring blog content. In lieu of a cape and mask Dark Knight dons harem pants and a crop top for a fun and funky day look.

I must admit that I'm one of the 12,472 followers of the fashion blog Sincerely, Jules. As a reader, I can get a bit bored with blogs that only focus on "Looks of the Day" and "Selfies". That is the reason I am constantly searching for fresh ways to feature exciting new content. However, there are a few exceptions and this is one of them.
