One thing I know for sure is, love is in the details. I think that's what I love so much about the images below. Every thing matters, each piece serves a purpose-to complete the puzzle.

Beauty Buzz: Nail Art

Not only is nail art a great way to express your individuality it is one of the fastest growing sectors of the beauty industry. There are a myriad of places to find inspiration and the tools.
From online tutorials, stickers and  to nail stickers

Dressed Up Nails

The thing that I love most about nail art is that pampered feeling. Simply taking the time to do something so basic as paint your nails, can have walk away feeling like a work of art.

Alberto Vargas: Prince of the Pin-up

One of my all-time favorite artists is Alberto Vargas. Not only was he a masterful painter and an award-winning airbrush artist, he was a visionary. He became famous in the 1940's for creating World Ward II era pin-ups for Esquire Magazine known as "Vargas Girls". His career was revived in the 1960's by Playboy magazine. His influence on me can be seen in my work as a stylist and blogger. Below are some of my favorite Vargas Girls. Who is one of your favorite artist? Which is your favorite Vargas Girl?

The Great Crate

Whether they are used as shelves, bookcases or side tables, wooden crates not only help with organization, they add a rustic touch to any room.

Assembly instructions are as easy as hammering a few nails in the wall or simply stacking them on top of each other.

Create a focal point in any room with bold shelves by staggering and stacking them.

Use crates of all shapes and sizes for multifunctional storage.

Find great crates at Esty and Ebay.
The origin of the images is unknown. Please feel free to let me know if you do!
